Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Financial Project Analyst, you will:
1. Conduct comprehensive financial evaluations of budgets, expenditures, and forecasts.
2. Identify and analyze discrepancies between projected and actual project costs.
3. Offer insights and suggestions for cost reduction and process enhancements.
4. Perform market analysis and surveys to support new product development and industry standards.
5. Assist in the formulation and upkeep of corporate budgets.
6. Monitor project spending against approved budgets and report any discrepancies.
7. Collaborate with project managers to ensure timely and accurate budget submissions.
8. Prepare regular financial reports for project stakeholders, emphasizing key performance indicators.
9. Generate ad-hoc financial reports as needed to aid in decision-making.
10. Ensure adherence to financial reporting standards and internal policies.
11. Partner with project managers, sales, and other departments to collect necessary financial data.

Required Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline. An advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is advantageous.
- Proven experience as a financial analyst, particularly in a project-driven environment.
- Strong skills in financial modeling and analysis.
- Excellent knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial management software.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational capabilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with Quickbooks Online.Job Requirements
