Position Overview

Square Robot Inc. is in search of a dedicated and detail-oriented Senior Financial Project Analyst to enhance our finance team. The successful candidate will be instrumental in managing the financial aspects of diverse projects within our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive financial analyses of budgets, expenditures, and forecasts.
  • Identify and assess discrepancies between projected and actual project costs.
  • Offer insights and recommendations aimed at cost reduction and process enhancements.
  • Conduct market research and surveys to support strategies for new product development and industry compliance.
  • Assist in the formulation and upkeep of corporate budgets.
  • Oversee project spending in relation to approved budgets and report any discrepancies.
  • Work closely with project managers to ensure timely and accurate budget submissions.
  • Prepare regular financial reports for project stakeholders, emphasizing key performance indicators.
  • Create ad-hoc financial reports as needed to facilitate decision-making.
  • Ensure adherence to financial reporting standards and internal policies.
  • Collaborate with project managers, sales, and other departments to collect necessary financial data.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated experience as a financial analyst, ideally in a project-focused environment.
  • Strong expertise in financial modeling and analysis.
  • Thorough understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and financial management software.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational capabilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with Quickbooks Online is preferred.
Job Requirements
