Senior Business Analyst and Project Manager

Momentum3 is an innovative technology firm located in Tulsa, Oklahoma, seeking a multifaceted professional to fulfill the dual role of Senior Business Analyst and Project Manager. Key Responsibilities:

Business Analysis:

  • Perform thorough assessments of current business workflows to pinpoint inefficiencies and potential automation opportunities, guiding the creation of software solutions that support organizational objectives.
  • Interpret and convey stakeholder requirements by converting business needs into solution specifications, illustrating both present and future states (as is/to be).
  • Construct compelling business cases advocating for proposed solutions, ensuring alignment with the organization’s strategic vision.

Project Management:

  • Oversee project initiatives, including defining project scope, developing plans, tracking progress, and engaging with stakeholders.
  • Lead software implementation project management, coordinating staffing, managing high-level SOW tasks in DevOps, and uncovering unaddressed business requirements.
  • Exhibit proficiency in SCRUM methodologies, showcasing the ability to lead and participate in agile development processes, ensuring effective collaboration and timely delivery of high-quality software solutions.
  • Facilitate UI/UX design, create detailed development tasks, and conduct ongoing reviews of project, team, budget, and invoicing.
  • Organize project demonstrations and facilitate meetings with the project team, Momentum3 management, and clients.

  • Qualifications:
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, along with presentation and client service expertise.
  • Demonstrated experience in conducting workshops with subject matter experts, gathering business and technical requirements, and mapping business processes.
  • Outstanding attention to detail, adept stakeholder management, and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficient in eliciting, documenting, analyzing, and validating requirements.
  • Experienced in serving as a liaison between business stakeholders and software development/information technology teams.
  • Proven expertise in market product and software selection, developing rollout strategies, integration plans, timelines, and budget preparation.
  • Skilled in updating and maintaining procedures and process documentation.
  • Track record of monitoring analysis deliverables, ensuring timely completion, and managing project artifacts.
  • Over 5 years of direct experience in project management, successfully executing software development projects.
  • Strong ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Critical thinking and sound judgment in decision-making.
  • Discreet handling of confidential information with a high level of professionalism.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a consulting firm in a billable capacity.
  • Prior analysis work with Fortune 500 or private equity-backed companies.
  • 5+ years of direct involvement in information technology projects.
  • Possession of a Bachelor's degree or higher.
  • PMP Certification.
  • Scrum Master Certification.
  • Current certification in business analysis (CCBA, CBAP, PMI-PBA, CPRE, or equivalent industry certification) is preferred.
  • Experience with JIRA and/or DevOps is advantageous.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office is a plus.
