Your Role:

The HR Operations Specialist will play a crucial role in supporting, organizing, coordinating, and executing all human resources initiatives and processes across multiple entities. This position provides both administrative and strategic support to the HR Business Partner and contributes to essential HR functions.

This role reports directly to an HR Business Partner and does not entail supervisory responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a key resource for human resources information, addressing inquiries from managers and employees.
  • Assist HR leadership in educating staff on company policies and ensuring compliance.
  • Provide training, guidance, and coaching on HR policies and procedures.
  • Maintain and update employee HRIS data as necessary.
  • Manage I-9s, FMLA, employee leave, PTO balances, and other HR-related tasks.
  • Address employment-related inquiries from staff and escalate issues to the Human Resources Manager when needed.
  • Support the termination process, including advising employees on their rights and benefits.
  • Ensure all recordkeeping aligns with organizational and legal standards.
  • Promote positive employee relations and proactively address employee concerns.
  • Adhere to established HR processes and current employment laws and regulations.
  • Assist in preparing correspondence and perform various clerical duties as required.
  • Respond to employee questions regarding HR policies, procedures, or employee handbook interpretations.
  • Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition Team in recruiting, interviewing, and screening candidates during peak hiring periods.
  • Support additional HR-related projects as assigned by the leadership team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience as an HR Generalist.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English is preferred.
  • Experience in a fully remote work environment is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with ADP Workforce Now is preferred.
  • Comprehensive understanding of HR functions and best practices.
  • Solid grasp of human resource principles, practices, and procedures.
  • Ability to follow instructions accurately and efficiently.
  • Proactive and capable of working independently.
  • Exhibit professional integrity, responsibility, and accountability.
  • Reliable and personable, with a commitment to meeting the diverse needs of employees.
  • Results-driven with the ability to manage projects and meet tight deadlines.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service abilities.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and related business tools.
  • Experience in training and coaching staff.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to de-escalate situations.
  • Flexibility to adjust priorities as needed.
