Job Summary

The HR Assistant - Employee Relations Specialist will be responsible for maintaining and updating employee records, ensuring compliance with company policies and government regulations. This role will also involve preparing new hire paperwork, benefits materials, and other essential documents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Employee Record Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personnel files and benefits information.
  • New Hire Onboarding: Prepare and distribute new hire paperwork, benefits materials, and other essential documents to ensure a smooth onboarding process.
  • Benefits Administration: Assist employees with benefits-related inquiries and provide support with benefits enrollment and changes.
  • Employee Communications: Serve as a point of contact for employees with HR-related questions and concerns.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with company policies and government regulations, identifying and mitigating potential risks.
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the HR team, including data entry, reporting, and other tasks as needed.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: 2-3 years of experience in human resources, preferably in a similar role.
  • Skills and Abilities: Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills; ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
