Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented File Clerk to join our team at Hendrick Automotive Group. As a File Clerk, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date records, ensuring efficient file management, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • File Management: Organize and maintain accurate and up-to-date records, files, and documents in a secure and accessible manner.
  • Record Retrieval: Search for and retrieve information contained in files as requested by team members and management.
  • File Maintenance: Ensure files are current, complete, and easily accessible.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of material removed from files and ensure all necessary documentation is completed.
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the team, including copying records, maintaining an organized workspace, and participating in required training.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers, ensuring a positive experience and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Compliance: Ensure all files and records are maintained in compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience: Previous office or administrative experience desired; strong organizational skills and attention to detail required.
  • Skills: Basic computer skills, ability to learn and utilize company software and systems, excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Certifications/Licenses: Valid driver's license required.
Work Environment

This position requires regular and predictable attendance, with scheduled shifts including evening hours, weekends, and some holidays. The work environment is primarily an office setting with a substantial amount of administrative duties and frequent interactions with employees, management, and outside vendors.
