Reliability Engineer - Manufacturing, Six Sigma

Job Responsibilities:
Is your background a match?
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a relevant field
  • Flexibility to work off-shift hours, if necessary
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting process sheets and blueprints
  • Strong knowledge of Six Sigma methodologies
  • Experience with unionized environments is advantageous
Key Duties:
  • Implement predictive maintenance strategies across manufacturing processes
  • Drive continuous improvement and reliability in existing and future manufacturing systems
  • Act as a key resource for automation growth and integration with enterprise systems
  • Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to enhance equipment reliability and maintainability
  • Assess current manufacturing systems and execute actions to improve safety, productivity, quality, and cost efficiency
  • Plan and coordinate preventive maintenance events and projects
  • Provide hands-on technical support and troubleshooting to address root causes of issues
  • Develop and maintain essential maintenance documentation such as FMEA and Control Plans
  • Create documentation for Standard PM and PdM Plans
  • Coordinate equipment maintenance schedules with production and maintenance planning
  • Minimize disruption risks caused by system malfunctions
  • Identify potential downtime issues through testing and FMEA; develop and implement solutions
  • Explore potential energy savings through cost and feasibility analyses

Oversight Responsibilities:
  • Thermography
  • Structural NDE (VT, MT, UT)
  • Vibration analysis and motor alignment
  • Ultrasonic leak detection
  • Oil analysis
  • Hydraulic circuits and troubleshooting
  • Support equipment OEE targets
  • Frontline problem-solving and FMEA
