We are currently seeking a Product Service Specialist to support our operations.


Key Responsibilities:


The Product Service Specialist will assist in resolving complex technical product issues in collaboration with Caterpillar Dealers, ensuring that customers experience the performance, reliability, durability, and availability that aligns with the CAT brand promise.

This role involves providing on-site assistance for a full spectrum of diesel and gas electric power products and systems, including generators, controls, cooling systems, enclosures, and balance of plant.


What You Will Do:


- Conduct regular visits to customer locations to deliver technical support, troubleshooting, and resolution of intricate issues related to Electric Power products and systems.
- Train and support Caterpillar dealer personnel and others in diagnosing complex product challenges.
- Provide leadership and deep technical knowledge to CPI projects, including the development and implementation of corrective measures.
- Assess products and processes to detect manufacturing and design defects.
- Gather and solicit feedback from internal and external sources to identify potential new products and enhancements to existing offerings.
- Draft technical specifications and guidelines to ensure product quality and performance.

Preferred location in Lafayette, Indiana.

Travel Requirements:
50-70% Domestic Travel.
