ANR Group Inc is currently seeking a Procedure Writer I to contribute to our operations.

The compensation for this role ranges from $40 to $55 per hour, accompanied by comprehensive benefits. This position is anticipated to be a one-year engagement, with the possibility of extension.

ROLE OVERVIEW

The successful candidate will be responsible for the development, assessment, modification, and upkeep of Maintenance, Administrative, and various station procedures. It is essential to ensure that these documents are technically accurate and adhere to human factor principles. Compliance with station and regulatory standards is a must. The candidate will interpret intricate tasks, schematics, manuals, guidelines, and requirements, transforming them into a clear sequence of steps for Energy Northwest personnel and contractors. Collaboration with the team to enhance station performance is expected.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and update station Maintenance, Administrative, and other procedural documents. Implement suggestions from Maintenance, Operations, Engineering, and other station departments.
  • Ensure procedural documents align with the requirements of License Bases Documents.
  • Maintain consistency with source documents such as station schematics, vendor manuals, and regulatory codes.
  • Prepare and execute Procedure Change Notices.
  • Provide technical guidance on procedural matters and resolve issues with reviewers.
  • Develop testing methodologies to guarantee adherence to standards and commitments.
  • Assist Engineering in verifying the correct operation and testing of systems.
  • Select appropriate testing equipment in line with engineering calculations and manufacturer specifications.
  • Incorporate recommendations from FAO and OER, reviewing design changes for procedural implications.

Administrative Duties

  • Ensure that station documents meet the administrative standards of the Sitewide PRO series.
  • Manage and implement CAP corrective actions and other assigned tasks. Support planned and forced outages.
  • Develop and revise procedures in collaboration with other departments.
  • Act as a Qualified Procedure Reviewer.
  • Represent the Maintenance Department during review processes.
  • Propose and execute improvements to administrative processes.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of deliverables.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited institution and three years of experience in a commercial nuclear power facility, with at least two years in operations or procedure writing.
  • Alternatively, a high school diploma or GED with six years of experience in a commercial nuclear power facility, including two years in operations, Maintenance, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with nuclear power plant systems and components.
  • Technical skills relevant to the discipline.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to understand diverse perspectives.
  • Excellent command of the English language.
  • Capability to visualize, analyze, and comprehend complex situations.
  • Ability to interpret intricate tasks, schematics, manuals, guidelines, and requirements, converting them into a clear sequence of steps.
  • Good organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team to devise solutions for complex challenges.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous RO or SRO license.
  • Familiarity with CGS procedures and standard practices, including ALARA, Industry Safety, Environmental Management System, Chemical Program, and Security.
  • Knowledge of Station License Bases Documents.
  • Experience with SWP-PRO-03, Procedure Writer's Manual.
  • Proficiency in computer software, including Passport, MS Word, Plant Tracking Log, and other relevant databases.
