Key Responsibilities:

As the Director of Residential Services, you will oversee the management and administration of programs and services while promoting new developments within the designated geographic area. Your role will encompass a variety of tasks, including:

  • Formulating and managing budgets, negotiating rates, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Enhancing program quality and supporting staff development.
  • Supervising operational managers and program directors, while implementing effective policies and systems.
  • Mitigating risks and minimizing organizational liabilities to ensure the safety and quality of service delivery for those we support.

Essential Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Psychology, Counseling, Allied Health, Health and Human Services, Human Services Management, Social Work, Behavioral Science, or a related field.
  • A minimum of three years of supervisory experience in human services or healthcare, preferably with community-based programs supporting adults with disabilities.
  • Experience managing budgets exceeding $2 million.
  • Proficiency in new software technologies and intermediate skills in Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Skills for Success:

  • Experience managing operations in environments such as Residential Services, Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS), or High Acuity settings.
  • In-depth knowledge of 245D regulations and practical experience with fee-for-service programming.
  • Familiarity with state systems and managed care systems, including Developmental Disabilities (DD), Brain Injury (BI), and Community Alternatives for Disabled Individuals (CADI).

Work Schedule:

  • This position typically follows a Monday to Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with on-call responsibilities outside of these hours.
  • Occasional travel may be required for organizational meetings.
