Job Summary

As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the day-to-day business operations of the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management: Provide strategic leadership and direction to the community team, ensuring seamless integration of gracious living, hospitality, and holistic care and wellbeing.
  • Financial Management: Manage community budget, including labor standards and community level expenses, and understand and manage profit-loss statements to maximize revenues and manage expenses.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, utilizing courtesy, dignity, and respect in all interactions with residents, team members, and external partners.
  • Team Development: Lead, implement, sustain, and reward a culture of wellbeing, teamwork, and respect for residents and team members.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with corporate operations, home office, and community leadership teams to develop and implement streamlined and consistent processes across the enterprise.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Currently licensed as an Assisted Living Director in the state of Minnesota, or ability to obtain required. Bachelor's degree in healthcare, hospitality services, finance, or related field preferred. Minimum of three years' of relevant experience in customer-oriented leadership.
  • Skills and Abilities: Possess compassion for and commitment to hospitality and service in elderly care. Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, profit and loss statements, maximize revenue and manage expenses. Strong leadership and management skills, including effective relationship building, business acumen, and communication.
