Overview of the Role:


The Guest Services Supervisor is tasked with overseeing the operations of the Front Office and night audit, ensuring that all interactions with guests are conducted in a welcoming, efficient, and professional manner. This role is crucial in delivering exceptional service to guests throughout their stay while optimizing room revenue and occupancy rates.

The Supervisor maintains a proactive leadership presence across all front office divisions.

Key Responsibilities and Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience is required.

Preferred Certifications:
Relevant certifications as mandated by the franchise.

  • Alcohol service certification is mandatory.
  • Prior supervisory experience in a hospitality setting is preferred.
  • Strong financial acumen and proficient computer skills are essential.
  • A valid driver's license from the relevant state and a clean driving record are required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Extended hours may be necessary, including evenings and weekends.
  • Light physical work, involving the ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently.


  • Capability to stand for prolonged periods, potentially for an entire shift.
  • As Manager on Duty, the ability to navigate swiftly between various departments on the property is essential.

  • Capacity to perform well in high-pressure, stressful situations.
  • Quick and accurate evaluation of alternative courses of action is necessary.
  • Proficiency in addressing workplace challenges, including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and resolving issues as they arise.
  • Effective listening skills to understand and clarify concerns raised by team members and guests.
  • Aptitude for assimilating complex information from various sources and adapting it to meet specific needs.
  • Ability to prioritize departmental tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Understanding of financial data and basic arithmetic functions is required.
