About the Role:

Gartner is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Account Executive to join our team. As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding our client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand client relationships.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with C-level executives and other key decision-makers.
  • Manage a portfolio of major client accounts and develop strategies to increase customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Meet or exceed sales quotas and targets.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activity to inform sales strategies.

Requirements:

  • 5-8 years of external experience in consultative sales with a proven track record of success.
  • Proficiency in account planning and territory management.
  • Ability to prospect and run C-level and senior-level relationships within midsize and large organizations.
  • Demonstrated intellect, drive, executive presence, and sales acumen.
  • Proven experience building excellent client relationships through offering beneficial, insightful, and strategic insights into their businesses.
  • Strong proficiency in computer skills.
  • Excellent written and oral presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of the full life cycle of the sales process, from prospecting to close.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
