About the Role:

Fountain is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounting Manager to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for leading and managing the accounts payable team, executing the weekly pay run, and overseeing corporate card program administration.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and Manage the Accounts Payable Team: You will be responsible for leading and managing the accounts payable team, ensuring they are performing their responsibilities effectively and efficiently.
  2. Execute the Weekly Pay Run: You will be responsible for executing the weekly pay run, ensuring proper coding and classification of invoices.
  3. Oversee Corporate Card Program Administration: You will be responsible for overseeing corporate card program administration, ensuring timely and accurate recording of expenses, and policy compliance.
  4. Manage Tipalti Accounts Payable and Expense Reporting System: You will be responsible for managing the Tipalti system, finding ways to use it more effectively and efficiently.
  5. Manage Vendor Relationships: You will be responsible for managing vendor relationships, resolving issues timely and effectively.
  6. Build Cross-Functional Relationships: You will be responsible for building and leveraging cross-functional relationships to identify problems and propose solutions.
  7. Oversee General Ledger Accounting: You will be responsible for overseeing general ledger accounting areas, including prepaids and other miscellaneous areas.
  8. Ensure Compliance: You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with parent company financial reporting requirements.
  9. Perform Expense Variance Analysis: You will be responsible for performing expense variance analysis and providing explanations to management.
  10. Develop and Improve Internal Accounting Practices: You will be responsible for developing and improving internal accounting practices and documented internal controls, policies, and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Education: BA/BS Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Minimum 4-6 years professional accounts payable and accounting experience with experience in corporate accounting.
  • People Management: Minimum 2-3 years of people management experience.
  • Skills: Highly self-motivated, excellent detail orientation, strong competency in Tipalti or other similar accounts payable and expense reporting system, intermediate to advanced Excel skills, self-starting personality, positive attitude, personal integrity, discretion, and candor.
