About the Role

The Senior Accountant is a crucial member of our Finance and Accounting team.

Reporting to the Assistant Controller, this position is responsible for essential functions such as managing the month-end close process, supporting accounts payable, and assisting with audits.

This role requires a hands-on, detail-oriented, and analytical approach to financial operations. Strong communication skills are vital for success in this position.

This is a hybrid role that necessitates in-office presence at least three days a week.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Audit: Investigate technical accounting issues and draft necessary accounting position memos.
  • Month-End Close: Assist with the monthly financial statement consolidation, including intercompany entries, ensuring a timely close. Post journal entries, review general ledger accounts, and reconcile balance sheet accounts.
  • General Ledger Management: Maintain the integrity of the general ledger, oversee the chart of accounts, and ensure accurate recording of financial transactions.
  • Accounts Payable: Contribute significantly to the accounts payable process, including reviewing vendor contracts, managing vendor records, and processing invoices.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting or within a rapidly growing organization.
  • Experience in a publicly traded company is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and accounting software.
  • Familiarity with ASC compliance standards.
  • Experience in a SaaS environment is advantageous.
