Job Overview

Position Title: Quality Assurance Inspector

We are looking for dedicated Inspectors for a temporary role that spans 3-6 months across various shifts, including one potential contract-to-hire position available on the night shift. Initial training will take place during the day shift before transitioning to the designated shift.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review work orders and follow detailed work instructions.
  • Receive materials from operators and ensure proper handling.
  • Adhere to work instructions for each job order.
  • Conduct visual and dimensional inspections on all products, including medical devices and mechanical components.
  • Utilize standard measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges for thorough inspections.
  • Perform incoming, first piece, in-process, and final inspections of all molded components.
  • Execute receiving inspections and audits for all products that have undergone final inspection.
  • Maintain clear and legible documentation.
  • Inspectors will be responsible for sampling 6-18 parts every two hours to ensure consistent workflow.
  • Provide assistance in other areas during machine downtime, including material handling and packaging.
Required Skills:Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency with micrometers, calipers, and gauges/dial indicators.
  • Experience in loading parts onto fixtures.
  • Ability to understand and work with decimal measurements.
  • Blueprint reading skills are a plus.
Interpersonal Skills:
  • Strong legible handwriting.
  • Flexibility to assist in various tasks as needed.
Position Type:

This is a contract role with a duration of 4 months.

Work Environment:

This position is fully on-site, located in a production environment that includes a quality lab. You will be part of a small team working on second and third shifts, with support from fellow Inspectors and Supervisors available as needed.
