Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled, forward-thinking, and proactive individual to take on the role of Lead Production Supervisor for our chemical manufacturing operations. In this capacity, you will be responsible for overseeing the production of top-tier chemical products, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality assurance protocols, while guiding and nurturing production teams to achieve peak operational performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Driving operational enhancements to boost production effectiveness and minimize expenses
- Mentoring and developing high-achieving production teams through strategic coaching and training initiatives
- Managing daily production activities to streamline processes and maximize output
- Collaborating with Quality Assurance and Engineering departments to foster continuous improvement
- Upholding exceptional standards of customer service
- Overseeing ERP systems and inventory management
- Ensuring a safe and compliant workplace environment
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline; MBA is advantageous
- Proficiency with ERP systems, particularly JD Edwards Enterprise - 1
- A minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing setting
- At least 8 years of experience in chemical production management
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies
