The Senior Aircraft Maintenance Technician will be responsible for executing both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on aircraft and associated equipment, ensuring compliance with established guidelines and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:


• Conducts maintenance, repairs, and modifications on aircraft structures and components, including engines, with a focus on complex issues.


• Services and repairs various aircraft systems, such as flight controls, hydraulics, fuel systems, and mechanical components.


• Utilizes technical expertise to diagnose equipment malfunctions and restore operational functionality.


• Interprets technical documentation, including blueprints and manufacturer manuals, to address intricate problems.


• Requires comprehensive knowledge of troubleshooting and repair procedures for aircraft mechanical components, as well as structural modifications.


• Familiarity with specialized aircraft tools and equipment is essential for effective maintenance.


• Performs maintenance tasks across multiple aircraft types in a collaborative environment.


• Demonstrates proficiency in various maintenance areas, including propulsion, avionics, and non-destructive inspection.


• Maintains accurate records of aircraft maintenance in accordance with established procedures.


• Engages in transient aircraft support and quality assurance activities as needed.

Qualifications:


• A minimum of ten years of experience in aircraft avionics maintenance, with specific experience on advanced aircraft systems preferred.


• Proven ability to perform modifications in a testing environment is required.


• Must exhibit reliability, self-motivation, and the capacity to manage stressful situations while maintaining professionalism.


• Capable of providing guidance and technical support to junior technicians during maintenance activities.


• Strong organizational skills are necessary to prioritize tasks effectively and meet operational timelines.


• Occasionally leads teams in complex maintenance tasks and ensures accurate documentation.


• Knowledge of aircraft systems, maintenance directives, and technical data reporting is essential.


• Understanding of supply chain and efficiency reporting procedures is mandatory.


• Must be knowledgeable about hazardous material handling and disposal procedures.


• Ability to obtain and maintain required security clearances.


• Must possess a valid U.S. Driver's License and communicate effectively in English.


• A high school diploma or GED is required.

Working Conditions:


• This position may involve unique travel requirements and working in various environments, including aircraft hangars and ramps.


• Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends, is necessary.


• Exposure to outdoor conditions and potential contaminants is expected.


• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be required to ensure safety during maintenance activities.
