The Senior Aircraft Maintenance Technician will be responsible for executing both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on aircraft and associated equipment, ensuring compliance with established guidelines and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:


• Conducts maintenance, repairs, and modifications on aircraft structures and components, addressing complex issues with precision.


• Inspects and repairs various aircraft systems, including flight controls, engines, hydraulics, and fuel systems.


• Utilizes technical expertise to diagnose equipment malfunctions and restores operational capability.


• Interprets technical documentation, such as blueprints and manufacturer manuals, to resolve intricate challenges.


• Demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of troubleshooting procedures for mechanical components and structural modifications.


• Operates specialized tools and equipment essential for aircraft maintenance and repair.


• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to maintain and service multiple aircraft types.


• Engages in various maintenance areas, including propulsion, avionics, and non-destructive inspection.


• Maintains accurate records and documentation in accordance with established procedures.


• Participates in transient aircraft support and other specialized maintenance activities.

Qualifications:


• A minimum of seven years of experience in aircraft structural maintenance within a military context, with relevant certifications.


• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.


• Experience in guiding and mentoring junior technicians during maintenance operations.


• Excellent organizational skills for managing multiple tasks and priorities.


• Familiarity with aircraft systems and maintenance directives is essential.


• Knowledge of safety protocols and hazardous material handling is required.


• Must possess a valid U.S. Driver's License and meet security clearance requirements.

Working Environment:


• The role involves working in aircraft hangars and on ramps, often in proximity to operational aircraft.


• Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends, is necessary.


• Exposure to outdoor conditions and potential contaminants is expected.


• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be required for safety compliance.
