Your Role
At Kimpton, our cultural foundation is paramount. The People + Culture team does not merely manage employees; we empower them and advocate for our unique culture.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Foster a strong partnership with hotel and restaurant operations, acting as an employee advocate and cultural ambassador.
2. Support hiring managers in recruitment and staffing, including participation in career fairs and management of job postings.
3. Collaborate with management on mentorship, counseling, and disciplinary matters, ensuring compliance with progressive discipline protocols.
4. Champion employee relations initiatives aligned with our Best Place to Work standards, including employee recognition programs and communication efforts.
5. Work closely with General Managers and Department Heads to enhance employee satisfaction metrics.
6. Establish People + Culture objectives that align with property goals in customer service and financial performance.
7. Oversee performance management processes, including regular check-ins and performance reviews.
8. Identify training needs and lead professional development initiatives, ensuring compliance with training requirements.
9. Conduct exit and stay interviews to identify trends and improve workplace culture.
10. Manage compliance with labor laws and company policies, including workers' compensation and leave requests.

What You Bring:
- A minimum of 4 years of HR management experience in hospitality or a related field.
- A Bachelor's degree in HR, Hotel Management, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
- Comprehensive knowledge of employment and labor laws.
- A friendly demeanor with a commitment to service excellence.
- Ability to work independently and handle confidential information with discretion.

Compensation:
The salary range for this position is competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, and a 401k plan.
