Role Summary:

As the Director of Marketing and Business Development for the Renesas Performance Core product line, you will oversee all marketing and business development initiatives within one of our most rapidly expanding product lines, catering to data center, AI, networking, and performance computing applications.

Your primary objective will be to drive business expansion across various market segments while serving as the business advocate for this product line. You will collaborate closely with the Sales and Field Application Engineering teams to secure design-ins that contribute to diversified revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a dedicated team of business development managers across the US and EMEA, working in tandem with the marketing team in Asia.
  • Engage with major cloud service providers and traditional OEMs to achieve design wins and foster revenue growth.
  • Coordinate Sales and FAEs in product promotion and business development efforts globally.
  • Build and maintain strong, productive relationships with key technical and procurement stakeholders within the infrastructure customer base.
  • Analyze market and customer needs, collaborating with Product Managers to define product specifications and enhance product roadmaps.
  • Identify market opportunities and work with Product Managers, Sales, and Business Unit Management to capitalize on these prospects.
  • Conduct competitive research and monitor market dynamics, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Develop and refine customer presentations to effectively communicate our value proposition, ensuring all customer-facing materials are impactful.
  • Create and enhance product collateral, competitive analyses, customer presentations, and training materials for the field.
  • Achieve design win targets on a global scale.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field with over 15 years of experience in business development, field applications engineering, marketing, or similar roles.
  • MSEE or MBA is advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of power management applications and products.
  • Experience in data centers, servers, telecom, networking, and/or computing markets.
  • High energy, self-motivated, and proactive attitude.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly and effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with teams across multiple global locations.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Proven track record of successfully launching products, securing design wins, and driving revenue growth.
Additional Information:

The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $185,000 - $277,500, with eligibility for STI bonus opportunities and commission pay. The final offer will be based on geographic location, relevant experience, and candidate skillset.
