We are seeking a dedicated and passionate full-time Marketing Director to steer our vibrant team. In this pivotal role, you will have the chance to shape and implement Shift's innovative marketing strategy across both B2B and B2C domains.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design, implement, and oversee a robust marketing strategy and budget aimed at achieving a target of $280K in monthly sales.
  2. Conduct extensive market research to gather in-depth insights into the 3PL logistics sector, focusing on market trends, competitor analysis, customer segmentation, and new opportunities.
  3. Develop and execute a data-informed marketing strategy, using insights from research to tailor approaches specifically for the 3PL logistics market.
  4. Perform thorough customer needs assessments to grasp the challenges, preferences, and decision-making processes of clients in the logistics industry.
  5. Utilize research outcomes to craft compelling messaging and positioning strategies that distinguish the company within the 3PL market.
  6. Create and distribute high-value, research-driven content (such as whitepapers, case studies, and industry reports) to establish thought leadership in the logistics arena.
  7. Drive online sales and create targeted marketing campaigns aimed at consumers and SMEs, leveraging extensive knowledge of the e-commerce landscape.
  8. Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing marketing team, whether in-house or contracted, to execute initiatives effectively.
  9. Foster and maintain strong relationships with key partners, vendors, and influencers to broaden brand reach and visibility.
  10. Identify diverse creator communities, develop content and community strategies, and provide leadership to the team.
  11. Design branding, positioning, and pricing strategies, ensuring a consistent brand message across all channels and marketing efforts.
  12. Analyze consumer behavior, define customer personas, and pinpoint opportunities for market expansion.
  13. Monitor competitive activity and coordinate sales and marketing efforts to maximize impact.
  14. Engage in quarterly and annual planning for company objectives, budgets, and staffing strategies.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  2. A minimum of 7 years of marketing experience, with a strong emphasis on e-commerce and marketing management.
  3. Demonstrated success in generating substantial revenue and driving innovation across organizations.
  4. Experience in building and managing high-performing teams, both in-house and contracted.
  5. Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  6. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with experience in data-driven decision-making and utilizing analytics for broader initiatives.
  7. A passion for staying abreast of industry trends and a commitment to driving innovation in the marketing field.
  8. Familiarity with the CPG & Personal Mobility sector is preferred.
  9. Excellent written, verbal, and professional communication skills.
  10. Outstanding attention to detail, multi-tasking, time management, and project management capabilities.
