About the Role

Peregrine Team is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Operating Officer to join our executive team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for managing the firm's day-to-day administrative and operational functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership: Partner with our Founding Partner and executive team to define and execute the firm's strategic vision, translating it into actionable plans that align with our goals and objectives.
  • Operational Management: Oversee the firm's daily operations to ensure optimal productivity, efficiency, and effectiveness, developing and implementing policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of senior operational leaders and department heads, fostering a culture of performance and continuous improvement.
  • Financial Oversight: Collaborate with our Chief Financial Officer to manage financial planning, budgeting, and resource allocation, monitoring and evaluating key performance indicators to assess operational success and financial stability.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously assess and refine operational processes to identify opportunities for improvement, leading initiatives to innovate and streamline operations, leveraging technology to boost productivity.
  • Risk Management & Compliance: Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, protecting our firm's assets, ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and ethical standards.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Experience: At least 8 years of experience in senior operational management roles, preferably within a legal or professional services environment, with demonstrated success in managing large-scale operations and leading cross-functional teams.
  • Skills & Competencies: Strong leadership and decision-making capabilities, exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, strategic thinker with a focus on results and problem-solving, in-depth understanding of operational best practices and modern business technologies.
