Job Overview

Volt is actively seeking a Technical Support Specialist I to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide essential daily operational assistance for a computing environment, adhering to established protocols to ensure seamless functionality.
  • Oversee onsite desktop equipment, troubleshoot software issues, manage printer hardware, and offer support for server and network teams.
  • Facilitate support for conference room setups, manage asset lifecycles, and assist with computer deployments for unit users.
  • Utilize technical knowledge to support processes, including basic printer operations, toner replacement, and resolving end-user tickets by following knowledge base articles.
  • Engage in activities that require a technical background while maintaining a strong administrative focus.
  • Execute and monitor standard processes that are stable and consistent, such as imaging computers, replacing printer toner, and managing trouble tickets.
  • Ensure effective email communication and maintain essential documentation, including contact lists, process logs, incident reports, and service records.
Required Qualifications:
  • Strong focus on hardware/software troubleshooting and customer satisfaction.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a related field.
Work Schedule:

Monday – Friday – 1st Shift

Compensation:

Pay rate ranges from $22/hr. to $26/hr., based on various factors including education, experience, and certifications.
