Role: International (Mandarin) Residential Life Coordinator


We are currently seeking a dedicated and professional International (Mandarin) Residential Life Coordinator to oversee our international student dormitory operations. This full-time position requires a commitment to the well-being and academic success of our students.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the logistics of student arrivals and departures, ensuring a smooth transition for all residents.
  • Prepare dormitory accommodations for incoming students, ensuring all facilities are ready for occupancy.
  • Welcome new students, providing them with essential information and tours of the facility.
  • Coordinate health appointments and ensure compliance with vaccination requirements.
  • Assist students in acquiring necessary school uniforms and setting up financial accounts.
  • Organize and facilitate orientation sessions for new residents.
  • Collaborate with Student Ambassadors to support new students in adapting to dormitory life.
  • Oversee student departures, ensuring all belongings are packed and dormitory property is returned.
  • Work closely with transportation services to ensure timely travel for students to and from school and events.
  • Engage with school staff to monitor student progress and address any academic or behavioral concerns.
  • Coordinate with health professionals to maintain the well-being of residents and manage attendance.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential student records, including health and attendance documentation.
  • Facilitate community service opportunities for students to fulfill service hour requirements.
  • Collaborate with evening staff to ensure seamless transitions in student care.
  • Support and mentor students through academic and cultural challenges.
  • Attend and contribute to regular staff meetings and student gatherings.
  • Participate in safety and emergency training sessions.
  • Plan and implement engaging activities and events for students.
  • Manage student calendars and special occasions, ensuring a supportive environment.
  • Work collaboratively with various departments to address student needs and resolve issues.
  • Contribute to special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

A Bachelor's Degree is required, with a preference for candidates holding an advanced degree in Education or a related field. Experience in educational settings, particularly with high school students, is highly desirable.

Successful candidates will demonstrate strong leadership skills, a commitment to student welfare, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is essential, along with excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Language Proficiency

Fluency in both English and Mandarin is required for this role.
