About this Role

We're looking for a talented Sales Account Executive to join our team at LinkedIn, where you'll play a key role in tapping into potential client opportunities and generating new business.

Your Responsibilities

  1. Prospect relentlessly to build pipeline and develop strong personal relationships with prospects
  2. Create reliable forecasts and maintain transparency with management on pipeline status
  3. Closely collaborate with the sales team to consistently meet and exceed quota levels
  4. Develop and execute a strategic plan for the territory, and document and distribute competitive information
  5. Invest in your colleagues and provide coaching and advice when you see opportunities for improvement
  6. Work to develop and circulate the set of best practices that will be the foundation of this team
  7. Listen to the needs of the market and share insights with product and marketing teams
  8. Be proactive in solving problems, even outside your area, and be ready to take on additional initiatives and responsibilities as they emerge

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of applicable sales experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with recruiting, recruitment media, and HR software
  • Experience with SaaS opportunities and the Salesforce.com platform
  • Experience selling IT or recruiting solutions
  • Knowledge of software contract terms and conditions, with the ability to create fair transactions
  • Strong negotiation and accurate forecasting skills
  • Demonstrated ability to find, manage, and close high-level business in an evangelist sales environment
  • Ability to assess business opportunities and use data to inform decision-making and persuade others
  • Ability to manage a large number of prospect situations simultaneously, while positioning company products against direct and indirect competitors
