Salary Range: $50,000 - $60,000 (Dependent on Experience)

Role SummaryThe primary objective of this position is to assist the Quality Assurance Department by facilitating effective communication of technical information between the Japanese and U.S. divisions. This role encompasses the collection, documentation, and presentation of technical data.
Key Responsibilities- Review and document technical information to uphold quality standards.
- Analyze daily production reports related to Tire Building Machines.
- Maintain logs of daily scrap and repair data, generating comprehensive reports for management.
- Compile and report on uniformity and dynamic unbalance metrics.
- Conduct analyses and generate reports on Return Tire Acceptance and NCF Credit Requests.
- Assist in creating reports regarding TBM and curing specifications.
- Support the Technical department with IP/ATOM Transfer requests.
- Keep accurate records of daily cure counts and drum test outcomes.
- Update and maintain controlled documents as required.
- Collaborate with the QA Manager to identify and address quality performance trends.
- Communicate product specifications and quality trends to production departments.
- Utilize statistical methods to report and forecast quality outcomes.
Demonstrate exemplary conduct in executing all responsibilities associated with this role.
QualificationsTo excel in this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) with one to two years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Language Proficiency: Fluent in both Japanese and English, with the ability to comprehend and interpret technical documents.
- Mathematical Skills: Proficient in advanced mathematical concepts and their application in quality analysis.
- Reasoning Ability: Capable of defining problems, collecting data, and drawing valid conclusions.
Employees must be able to meet the physical demands of the job, including standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds. The work environment may involve exposure to moving mechanical parts and loud noise levels.
