Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at VistaTek, a family-owned leader in mold making and injection molding.

Educational Background

Required:

  • High School diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • Quality training/certifications are advantageous
  • Familiarity with ISO Standards
Professional Experience

Essential: A minimum of three years in quality assurance.

Preferred: At least two years of experience with Micro Vu / Vision systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct advanced dimensional and visual inspections across various manufacturing processes.
  • Utilize diverse methods and equipment for inspections.
  • Maintain accurate quality records in accordance with company and GMP guidelines.
  • Support First Article, Gage R&R, and Process Capability studies through inspections.
  • Audit and train staff on the correct use of inspection tools and documentation.
  • Analyze and interpret SPC results.
  • Manually operate precision testing equipment, including Tool Scope, CMM, and Vision systems.
  • Demonstrate effective organizational, oral, and written communication skills to foster strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and colleagues.
  • Propose modifications to quality documentation as necessary.
  • Complete additional work-related tasks as assigned.
  • Fulfill the primary duties of a Quality Inspector.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Proficient in the use and maintenance of inspection equipment.
  • Solid understanding of metrology.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance (GD&T).
  • Strong problem analysis and solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage both internal and external relationships effectively.
  • Capability to adapt quickly to changing priorities in support of production needs.
  • Excellent organizational skills to handle multiple requirements and deadlines.
