Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct visual inspections, measurements, and evaluations on incoming materials, in-process components, and final products.
  • Adhere to established inspection protocols and quality control standards to determine product compliance and identify any discrepancies.
  • Employ various measurement and testing instruments to ensure inspections are accurate and reliable.
  • Document and maintain comprehensive inspection records, including test outcomes, measurements, and observations.
  • Collaborate with the quality assurance team to implement inspection strategies and uphold quality standards.
  • Identify and report quality concerns, deviations, or trends to management for appropriate corrective measures.
  • Maintain organized and precise records of inspections, test results, and related documentation.
  • Work with cross-functional teams, including engineering and production, to address and resolve quality challenges.
  • Engage in root cause analysis to uncover underlying issues related to non-conformances and develop solutions.
  • Perform additional related tasks as required.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience as a QA Inspector or in a comparable role, ideally within a manufacturing or production setting.
  • In-depth knowledge of quality control practices, inspection methodologies, and measurement tools.
  • Familiarity with relevant quality standards and regulations (e.g., ISO 9001).
  • Proficient in utilizing measurement and testing devices, such as calipers, gauges, and micrometers.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Able to work effectively in cross-functional teams and adapt to shifting priorities.
  • Basic computer proficiency for data entry and report generation.

Education:

  • Associate degree or equivalent; technical certifications or further education in quality assurance or related fields are advantageous.
