The Chemical Engineer is seeking a Senior Process Development Engineer specializing in measurement techniques.


This position is essential for the advancement of our innovative engineering solutions, focusing on the precise measurement of components made from metals, ceramics, and plastics.

This role represents a significant opportunity for a professional to contribute to the growth of a leading company in the engineering sector, dedicated to enhancing technology and improving lives.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and execute measurement processes to facilitate the introduction of new components.
  • Assess existing measurement methodologies and implement enhancements as needed.
  • Provide training or oversee the education of technicians and operators on new measurement instruments and processes.
  • Prepare and finalize gauge R&R protocols and reports, along with IQ/OQ/PQ documentation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create and implement fixtures, gauges, and templates for incoming inspection measurement.
  • Engage with suppliers to assist in the development of measurement processes, ensuring alignment with internal standards.
  • Work closely with engineering teams to achieve project objectives and milestones.
  • Support the analysis of defective components during incoming inspections.
  • Promote best practices in gauge utilization.
  • Collaborate with a diverse team of engineers and technicians to accomplish project goals.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Plastics, or Manufacturing Engineering is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in regulated high-precision manufacturing environments.
  • Demonstrated experience in programming and operating CMM and vision systems.
  • Experience with Gauge R&R studies and IQ/OQ/PQ documentation is essential.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification is required; Black Belt is preferred.
  • Familiarity with metrology tools is advantageous.
