Job Description

We are seeking skilled individuals for the role of Medical Device Assembler. In this position, you will play a crucial part in manufacturing high-quality medical devices within a controlled environment. Your responsibilities will encompass assembling, inspecting, and testing intricate components.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize polymer materials to construct, test, or apply them on medical devices according to established procedures.
  • Assemble plastic and metal components into complete medical devices, adhering to approved manufacturing guidelines.
  • Conduct in-process quality checks on subassemblies and finished products to ensure adherence to rigorous standards.
  • Employ a range of tools, including small hand tools, calibrated instruments, measurement equipment, microscopes, and test fixtures.
  • Collaborate with engineers and technicians to resolve production issues and contribute to process improvements.
Qualifications:
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, coupled with relevant manufacturing experience or intensive microscope experience in a Class III medical device company.
  • Demonstrate exceptional hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for working with small plastic and metal components in a high-volume production setting.
  • Familiarity with lean, six sigma, kaizen, and continuous improvement methodologies is highly advantageous.
  • Exhibit proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Possess strong basic math skills and the ability to execute tasks efficiently under general supervision.
  • Demonstrate computer literacy and working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
