Quality Engineer

Job Description
Review design plans, process procedures, test procedures, and quality manuals to understand the scope, requirements and function of the problem.Ensure the product meets the organization and customers quality requirements. Support the engineering, product development and operations team by providing analysis and expertise throughout the inspection process. Investigate non-conformance and identifies root cause of problems in the production process and recommends/implements corrective and preventative actions Analyze data to identify trends in quality or defects to prevent future defectsInitiate first articles, VSE and customer specific requirements of all new jobsMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. The Successful Applicant
BS Degree is highly preferred. 3-5+ year experience Background in metals manufacturing is highly preferred.
