We are currently seeking a Desktop Support Technician to provide managed client services for a strategic customer. This role encompasses a variety of services including IMAC, Break Fix, and Desk Side Support. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills while delivering a high level of customer service.
**This position requires onsite work and adherence to vaccination protocols as mandated by applicable law.
Key Responsibilities
- Deployment of Windows 11 systems
- Management of Active Directory - Computer accounts
- System imaging utilizing SCCM
- Troubleshooting issues related to firewall, proxy, or antivirus software
- Exemplary customer service skills
- Collaboration with vendors to resolve issues with vendor-supported applications
- Support for thin clients, mobile devices, desktops, and laptops
- Configuration of local device settings for Citrix/Epic applications
- Timely response to support tickets with detailed documentation of resolutions
- Participation in weekly team meetings
- Completion of mandatory training and development programs
- Closure of tickets in accordance with team standards
- Provision of deskside/end-user support in a large-scale environment, requiring mobility between workstations
Basic Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in desktop or technical support
Preferred Skills
- A+ Certification
- Demonstrated customer service experience
- Proficient in Windows Operating System environments
- Ability to follow verbal and written technical instructions
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Physical capability to lift and move enterprise and client technology hardware
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset
- Basic customer interaction skills
- Strong troubleshooting abilities, including MAC experience
- Experience in printer repair
- Familiarity with networking concepts
- Experience in PC imaging and deployment
- Self-motivated and reliable
- Access to a personal vehicle
NTT DATA offers a competitive compensation package, including a starting pay range of $32.40/hour, contingent on relevant experience and qualifications.
