Your Responsibilities:
  • Enhance Splunk Capabilities: Design, implement, and manage Splunk to strengthen our security framework.
  • Data Integration: Incorporate essential data sources into our Splunk Enterprise Security (ES) system, ensuring efficient data flow and application.
  • Data Normalization & Visualization: Convert log data to comply with the Common Information Model (CIM) and develop user-friendly dashboards for improved insights.
  • Alert Development: Create and deploy alerts to identify irregularities and potential security threats, ensuring prompt action.
  • Customer Support & Troubleshooting: Provide assistance to clients with log ingestion challenges, resolve infrastructure issues, and uphold virtual server efficiency.

  • Cloud Proficiency: Practical experience with AWS, Azure, and M365, along with cloud access security brokers.
  • Networking Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of network protocols and familiarity with network monitoring solutions.
  • Security Expertise: Strong skills in security analysis, policy formulation, and execution.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with Linux and Windows operating systems, SOAR, and Palo Alto Networks' firewall technologies.

Qualifications:
  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s Degree in IT or a related discipline from an accredited institution.
  • Professional Experience: 5-7 years in positions involving security monitoring tools such as IDS/IPS, firewalls, and protocols like NetFlow, with hands-on experience using tools like Snort, Bro, Palo Alto, Checkpoint, and others.
