Job Description

At Serigor Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Tools Engineer 4 to join our team. As a key member of our Operations Technology Division, you will be responsible for independently and collaboratively achieving department service and support objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and Maintain Security Tools: Ensure the care and feeding of Splunk, Tenable, Forescout, and other security tools to maintain a robust security posture.
  • Provide Exceptional Customer Service: Communicate effectively with teammates and customers of varying levels of technical expertise to resolve issues and provide support.
  • Analyze and Interpret Log Data: Analyze logs and scans to identify security threats and provide actionable insights to improve cybersecurity controls and defenses.
  • Configure and Deploy Security Tools: Configure and deploy security tools with best practices to ensure optimal performance and security.
  • Document and Maintain Records: Maintain up-to-date project and architecture documentation, as well as inventory and maintenance records.
  • Monitor System Resources: Monitor system resources for server/service anomalies and resolve connection issues between platforms.
  • Support Threat Hunting and Mitigation: Support team efforts to improve cybersecurity controls and defenses, and participate in threat hunting and mitigation activities.
  • Manage Time and Resource Constraints: Manage time and resource constraints to ensure efficient use of resources and meet project deadlines.
Requirements:
  • Cybersecurity Experience: 3-5 years of experience in the field of cybersecurity or related subject matter area.
  • Security Tools Experience: Experience with Splunk, Tenable, Forescout, and other security tools.
  • Technical Skills: Knowledge of Azure, Cisco Firepower, Windows, Linux, and Microsoft Office.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with teammates and customers.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Cybersecurity Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+ or CISSP.
  • Cloud Computing Experience: Experience with cloud computing platforms such as Azure.
  • Network Security Experience: Experience with network security protocols and technologies.
