Lead Security Information Analyst - Hybrid

Innova Solutions is seeking a qualified Lead Security Information Analyst to join our team. This position requires a hybrid work arrangement, with occasional onsite presence.

Role Overview:

The successful candidate will possess extensive experience in Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems, particularly with Splunk. The role involves:

  • Development, deployment, and management of Splunk solutions.
  • Onboarding critical data sources into the SIEM tool to enhance security monitoring capabilities.
  • Normalization of log data to align with the Common Information Model (CIM) for effective security use cases.
  • Creation of insightful dashboards to visualize log data and enhance operational awareness.
  • Configuration of alerts to notify relevant stakeholders of security incidents or anomalies.
  • Providing support to clients experiencing issues with log ingestion or system communication.
  • Diagnosing and resolving infrastructure or system-related challenges.
  • Monitoring the performance and integrity of virtual server environments.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • A minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in security monitoring tools and protocols.
  • Strong proficiency in the administration and deployment of Splunk and other SIEM tools.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and M365.
  • A solid understanding of network monitoring tools and protocols.
  • Ability to conduct security analysis and develop security policies and guidelines.
  • Familiarity with both Linux and Windows operating systems.
  • Experience with SOAR and firewall technologies from leading vendors.

Compensation and Benefits:

The compensation for this role ranges from $100,000 to $170,000 annually. Innova Solutions offers a comprehensive benefits package, which may include:
