The IT Service Technician plays a crucial role in delivering technical assistance and repair solutions for a range of technology products utilized in user environments. This position involves diagnosing and fixing issues related to computers, laptops, tablets, and printers. The technician will also engage in IMAC (Install, Move, Add, Change) operations and provide on-site support to users. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication abilities, technical knowledge, and a commitment to achieving high levels of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver technical assistance and repair solutions for end-user computing devices.
  • Support high-profile clients and manage change requests effectively.
  • Conduct IMAC operations and provide on-site user support.
  • Engage in clear communication with end-users and service desk teams.
  • Follow established service operations policies and procedures.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
Education and Experience Requirements:
  • Completion of a technical school program or 2-4 years of relevant work experience.
Certifications and Qualifications:
  • Maintain required OEM Certifications as necessary.
  • Proficient in both software and hardware systems.
  • Familiarity with ITIL practices.
  • A+ certification is preferred.
Essential Skills:
  • Outstanding communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to independently follow instructions and established processes.
  • Capacity to lift and transport computer equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Possession of a basic repair toolkit.
