The Head of Programmatic Strategy will lead initiatives across our expanding agency locations, focusing on programmatic media strategies.

This position is tasked with enhancing programmatic media solutions for our clients by utilizing both established and innovative technologies, in collaboration with Omnicom Health Group's Data and Technology center of excellence.

The ideal candidate will possess a proactive and hands-on approach, collaborating with the existing Media team to design, implement, and oversee campaigns using various tools across multiple client accounts.


Responsibilities:
Drive programmatic media strategies for pharmaceutical and biotech clients, utilizing both external and internal resources

Act as a primary client liaison for programmatic projects, ensuring high standards in managing client and agency stakeholder expectations

Collaborate closely with senior leadership on initiatives for account and portfolio expansion

Identify, assess, and validate existing and emerging technologies, data, targeting, measurement, and attribution solutions

Work alongside planning teams to develop and present comprehensive media recommendations aligned with brand objectives, target audiences, and creative messaging

Foster strong working relationships and lead programmatic collaborations with senior internal and external stakeholders, including Strategy & Planning and Analytics teams, as well as clients and vendor partners

Oversee daily programmatic operations while mentoring and supporting the professional development of the Programmatic team

Establish key performance indicators and provide data-driven insights for planning teams and client deliverables

Educate internal teams and clients on innovative strategies, programmatic best practices, and emerging technologies

Engage in new business opportunities and presentations

Provide ongoing insights on market trends and leading technologies to both the internal community and external partners

Experience:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; quantitative discipline preferred

5-8 years of experience in a media agency, with 3-5 years specifically in programmatic roles

Experience in the pharmaceutical sector is advantageous

Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to simplify complex technical information for diverse audiences

Demonstrated leadership and training capabilities

Experience handling large data sets and a strong understanding of analytical methodologies and data assessment

Self-motivated with the ability to manage projects independently and lead larger teams

A passion for continuous learning and collaboration with diverse individuals, maintaining a positive and enthusiastic demeanor

Ability to think strategically and anticipate the needs of teams and clients

Adaptability to change

Experience in managing programmatic media campaigns

In-depth knowledge of the programmatic ecosystem, including DSPs, DMPs, open exchanges, PMP, and guaranteed buys

Familiarity with third-party verification tools, such as DoubleVerify, ComScore, IAS, Moat, etc.

Hands-on experience with data visualization platforms, including Datorama and Tableau

Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint

Knowledge of ad serving technologies, including DCM or other relevant third-party ad servers

Understanding of viewability measurement (MOAT, IAS, DoubleVerify) and audience measurement (Nielsen DAR)


The salary range for this role reflects the low and high end of the base salary for employees at Omnicom Health Group in the United States.

Compensation will vary based on factors such as professional experience, training, responsibilities, and organizational needs.

This range is one component of our total compensation package for employees. Salary decisions are made based on the specific circumstances of each hire.
