Job Summary

The Facility Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the functional and aesthetic condition of our facility. This position requires technical knowledge and manual labor to complete work orders and routine maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including painting, minor carpentry, plumbing, and electrical repairs
  • Respond to emergency maintenance requests in a timely and efficient manner
  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment, machinery, and systems
  • Inspect the facility for safety hazards and take appropriate action
  • Maintain records of maintenance activities and materials used
  • Purchase necessary supplies and materials as needed
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, and carpentry practices
  • Able to lift heavy objects and perform strenuous manual labor
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Able to work independently and under minimal supervision
