Senior Business Development Manager

Michael Page is seeking a highly skilled Tech Sales Leader to join their team in the rubber molding industry. As a Technical Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving business growth and revenue expansion in the aerospace and industrial sectors.
About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for a sales professional with technical expertise in rubber molding, injection molding, or sealing applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering or a related field, with at least 5 years of experience in sales engineering or technical sales roles. A proven track record of success in selling into aerospace, defense, or industrial markets is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cultivate relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients in the aerospace and industrial sectors, identifying new business opportunities and expanding existing accounts.
- Sales strategy: Collaborate with internal teams to develop and execute sales strategies that drive revenue growth and meet customer needs.
- Solution development: Work closely with customers and internal stakeholders to identify and develop customized solutions for complex challenges.
- Account management: Manage and grow assigned customer accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and alignment with expectations.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree required; Engineering or a Technical discipline preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience, ideally in a sales engineer or technical sales role.
- Skills: Technical background in rubber molding, plastic molding, injection molding, or sealing applications; Proficient in CRM systems and advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Travel: Willingness to travel overnight (up to 50% or as required).
