Role Overview:
As part of our Lunar Transportation division, which focuses on the development of the Blue Moon lander product lines, you will be joining a diverse team of innovative problem solvers.

Your contributions will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of space exploration.

Key Responsibilities:
- Engage in the complete lifecycle of fluid systems, from requirements gathering to design, development, assembly, verification, and lunar operations.
- Collaborate with a dedicated team of engineers to conduct trade studies, derive requirements, manage procurement, and oversee the testing and integration of heat exchangers within the Lunar Lander's fluid systems.
- Utilize your expertise in cryogenic fluid systems to ensure the successful design of components that operate efficiently in multiphase flow conditions.

Your technical knowledge, leadership abilities, and commitment to quality will significantly influence the safety of human spaceflight.

Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in fluid system design, analysis, and component specification.
- Strong understanding of fluid dynamics and heat transfer principles.
- Experience with sizing and heat transfer calculations for heat exchangers.
- Familiarity with fluid system simulation tools such as Sinda Fluint or Thermal Desktop.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software (preferably Creo) and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) tools (such as ANSYS).
- Ability to create engineering drawings with GD&T (ASME Y14.5).
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate effectively with external stakeholders.
- Must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or legally admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or asylum seeker.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A Master’s degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Experience across all phases of component integration in space vehicles.
- Background in engineering analysis and support for Non-Conformance (NC) issues related to fluid components and mechanical assemblies.
