Job Description

Job Summary:

The Director of Human Resources and Operations will provide strategic leadership and direction to the HR function, ensuring alignment with the company's overall business objectives. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies, policies, and procedures to drive business results and improve employee engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • HR Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement HR strategies that support the company's business objectives, including talent management, succession planning, and diversity and inclusion initiatives.
  • Employee Relations and Engagement: Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, ensuring that employees are engaged, motivated, and equipped to perform at their best.
  • Recruitment and Talent Management: Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent, including job postings, employee referrals, and social media advertising.
  • Benefits and Compensation: Design and administer comprehensive benefit programs, including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) plans, to ensure that employees are fairly compensated and have access to competitive benefits.
  • Performance Management and Development: Develop and implement performance management processes to ensure that employees are held accountable for meeting business objectives and are provided with opportunities for growth and development.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure that the company is in compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including employment laws, labor laws, and tax laws.
  • HR Operations and Administration: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the HR function, including HRIS administration, employee data management, and benefits administration.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or related field (Master's degree is a plus)
  • Language: Fluent in both English and Spanish
  • Certifications: PHR or SPHR certification preferred
  • Experience: 10-15+ years of experience leading and managing the HR department and a senior role
  • Skills: Knowledge of principles and procedures regarding HR laws and regulations, hiring, compensation and benefits, and employee relations practices; ability to manage and work with diverse teams to ensure work processes meet or exceed all requirements and business goals

Salary Range: $100K - $120K
