Position Overview

The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing various programs within the HR department and throughout the organization. This position requires close collaboration with company leadership to align HR strategies with long-term business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily HR operations and partner with senior management to achieve strategic objectives.
  • Develop, implement, and uphold HR strategies, policies, and procedures ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Manage essential HR functions including recruitment, promotions, terminations, compensation, benefits, and employee relations.
  • Lead recruitment efforts to foster employee growth and maintain a positive and engaging workplace culture.
  • Effectively communicate HR policies and practices to ensure compliance with labor laws and organizational standards.
  • Establish processes to adhere to healthcare regulations.
  • Design and manage comprehensive employee benefit programs, recommending enhancements to improve satisfaction and efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legal requirements and reporting regulations.
  • Oversee processes for managing employee leave and disability claims.
  • Conduct investigations into employee grievances, ensuring resolutions align with company policies.
  • Develop and manage HR policies, including vendor relations and training.
  • Prepare and analyze HR reports regularly, assisting in budget preparation through detailed data analysis.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or a related field; a Master's degree is advantageous.
  • Fluency in both English and Spanish is required.
  • PHR or SPHR certification is preferred.
  • 10-15+ years of experience in a senior HR leadership role.
  • In-depth knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Proven ability to manage diverse teams and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Strong consulting, coaching, and management skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with HRIS systems.
  • Experience with policy implementation related to employment verification is essential.
  • Thorough understanding of California wage and hour laws is required.
