Position Overview

LMK Recruiting is seeking a skilled and seasoned Director of Human Resources to lead our HR initiatives. This pivotal role involves guiding the development and execution of various HR programs within the organization. The Director will collaborate closely with executive leadership to align HR strategies with the company’s long-term goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily HR operations and partner with senior management to drive strategic objectives.
  • Develop, implement, and uphold HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Manage essential HR functions such as recruitment, promotions, terminations, compensation, and employee relations in accordance with company policies.
  • Lead recruitment efforts to foster employee growth and maintain a positive workplace culture.
  • Effectively communicate HR policies and ensure adherence to labor laws and company standards.
  • Establish processes to comply with healthcare regulations.
  • Design and manage comprehensive employee benefit programs, recommending enhancements to improve satisfaction and efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legal requirements and reporting regulations.
  • Manage leave of absence processes and coordinate with employees and service providers.
  • Conduct investigations into employee concerns, ensuring resolutions align with company policies.
  • Develop and manage HR policies, including vendor relations and training programs.
  • Prepare and analyze HR reports to assist in budget preparation and resource allocation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish is required.
  • PHR or SPHR certification is advantageous.
  • 10-15+ years of experience in HR leadership roles.
  • Strong knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Proven ability to work with diverse teams to achieve business objectives.
  • Excellent consulting, coaching, and management skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with HRIS systems.
  • Experience with policy implementation regarding employment verification.
  • Thorough understanding of California wage and hour laws.
