Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Sales Engineer to join our team at Allegheny Bradford Corporation. As a Technical Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for reviewing customer requirements and developing detailed cost proposals.

This role requires a strong understanding of technical sales activities, including reviewing customer specifications, 3D drawings, and industry standards. You will work closely with customers to understand their needs and provide solutions that meet their requirements.

The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of Microsoft Excel, reading drawings/schematics, electrical schematics, and Bill of Materials (BOM). Experience with ASME Data Sheets is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review customer requirements and specifications
  • Develop detailed cost proposals
  • Work closely with customers to understand their needs
  • Provide solutions that meet customer requirements
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or similar level of experience and/or education
  • Strong customer service, analytical, and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational, research, and multitasking abilities
  • Strong negotiating and problem-solving skills
  • Previous experience in a technical sales role is a plus
