Job Overview

The Lead Inventory Clerk is a key member of our Warehouse Operations team, responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our inventory control processes. This role requires a high degree of proficiency in Warehouse Systems (SAP) and a strong analytical mindset to identify trends and processes impacting inventory control.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and assist with physical counts to ensure accurate inventory levels
  • Research and resolve inventory discrepancies, ensuring all required documentation and processes are completed and filed appropriately
  • Analyze inventory information to determine trends and processes impacting inventory control, communicating findings to Warehouse Management and Operations
  • Train and lead Inventory Personnel, evaluating processes for continuous improvement
  • Communicate identified process improvements with warehouse management, operations, product supply planners, production facilities, and other departments
  • Perform other duties assigned by Warehouse Management, including pallet building and supporting team members

Requirements

  • Extensive knowledge of Warehouse Processes and high degree of proficiency in Warehouse Systems (SAP)
  • Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills with a continuous improvement mindset
  • Strong PC skills, including Microsoft Office applications and SharePoint, with ability to prioritize tasks and assignments
  • Ability to multi-task, organize, and delegate tasks to others
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, walking and repetitively lifting 30-75 lbs
  • Ability to collaborate within a team environment and adapt to changing work areas
  • Attention to detail and ability to differentiate packages
  • Flexibility in scheduling, with hours subject to change based on business demands

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Knowledge acquired through 3-5 years of work experience
  • PIT (Powered Industrial Truck) Certification, including Pallet Jack and Forklift
