- Manage inventory levels and replenish supplies as needed to avoid shortages or excess.
- Keep precise records of all college assets, including their status, location, and valuation.
- Conduct annual physical inventories to resolve any inconsistencies.
- Provide training to staff on procurement processes and tools.
- Execute additional tasks as directed by the supervisor.
- Background in purchasing, supply chain management, or a related discipline.
- Experience in inventory and asset oversight.
- Familiarity with procurement cards and associated regulations.
- Strong accuracy in data entry and record maintenance.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and inventory management software.
- Capability to work autonomously and collaboratively, demonstrating accountability and meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
- Previous experience with Virginia State procurement regulations and systems such as eVA or PeopleSoft.
