Role Summary: The Operations Manager at JR Software Solutions plays a crucial role in overseeing and streamlining the daily functions of our IT consulting organization, with a focus on Federal contracting. This position is pivotal in fostering collaboration with the recruitment team, managing the onboarding and offboarding of client resources, tracking performance metrics, and executing daily administrative responsibilities. The Operations Manager ensures that all operational workflows are in accordance with company objectives and Federal contracting standards, promoting efficient business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaboration with Recruitment Team:
- Engage closely with the recruitment team to synchronize hiring strategies with project demands and Federal contract stipulations.
- Draft offer letters and communicate company and client expectations, including guidelines for conduct.
Management of Client Resource Lifecycle:
- Oversee the complete lifecycle of client resource onboarding, including the collection and review of essential documentation, as well as managing the offboarding process, which involves coordinating the return of Government Furnished Equipment (GFE).
- Facilitate badge and NCAMS renewals in collaboration with Prime, client onboarding teams, and resources.
Performance Oversight:
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of client resources, ensuring alignment with project objectives and client requirements.
- Work alongside HR and the recruitment team to address performance challenges and implement process enhancements.
Daily Administrative Management:
- Oversee daily administrative functions, including scheduling, communication, and documentation management.
- Ensure compliance of all operational processes with Federal contracting regulations and company policies.
- Optimize the utilization of office resources, including technology and facilities, to support effective operations.
Enhancement of Operational Processes:
- Develop and routinely update process improvements, policies, and procedures to boost operational efficiency, support organizational growth, and ensure alignment with company objectives and Federal regulations.
Facilitation of Communication:
- Conduct regular meetings and act as a liaison between executives and various departments, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Keep all team members informed and aligned with operational goals and expectations.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Human Resources, or a related discipline.
- Experience:
- At least 3 years of experience in operations management, ideally within an IT consulting or Federal contracting context.
- Experience in resource management, recruitment coordination, and performance assessment.
- Skills:
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities, capable of managing multiple priorities efficiently.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to collaborate across teams.
- Proficient in office software, HR and recruitment systems, and project management tools.
- Detail-oriented with a keen focus on compliance and process enhancement.
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to evolving needs.
Work Hours & Benefits:
- Standard working hours are 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM EST, with some flexibility for remote work.
