Job Summary:

IBEX IT Business Experts, LLC is seeking an Office Operations Coordinator to support the Southeast Regional Maintenance Center (SERMC), Naval Station Mayport, Jacksonville, Florida. SERMC provides various technical and logistical services, maintenance, and training associated with the installation, operation, alteration, maintenance, readiness of shipboard equipment, repairs, and provide maintenance services to various U.S. Naval ships.

Typical Duties Include:

The Office Operations Coordinator will assist with preparing, transcribing, transferring, systematizing, and preserving both written and computerized communications and records, gathering and distributing the information. Duties also include operating office machines, storing, and accounting for stores of materials. The Office Operations Coordinator shall support projects requiring research and preparation of briefing charts and other presentation materials; operating computerized business systems for the purposes of recording labor hours of the workforce; data entry and mining of business systems for the administration of ship repair and gathering performance metrics.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Ability to pass a Federal Government security/background check and a drug test.
  • Prior knowledge of Timekeeping Administration and Reporting (TA&R)
  • Experience with Maritime System Environment (MSE) Business Objects and Material Requirements (MRQT) applications
  • Experienced with collecting preparing, transcribing, transferring, systematizing, and preserving both written and computerized communications and records, gathering and distributing the information
  • Experience with projects requiring research and preparation of briefing charts and other presentation materials; operating computerized business systems for the purposes of recording labor hours of the workforce; data entry and mining of business systems for the administration of ship repair and gathering performance metrics.

Required Experience:
  • Experience with MS Office, Word, Excel, Power Point, and Supervisor Desk Application (SUPDESK)
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Maritime System Environment (MSE) Business Objects
Responsibilities:

Work Environment:

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.

Appearance: All personnel shall be attired in business casual clothing for daily work. Attire worn should always ensure employees safety from working conditions (long pants, appropriate shirts and close toe shoes as required): on occasion, staff may be required to wear a business dress for certain activities.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift or move office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, and requires you to align with IBEX's core business hours of 9 am and 5 pm EST
