Role Summary:
The Service Operations Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the Customer Center and addressing the compressed air requirements of the industrial sector. This position is tasked with the efficient coordination of service technicians to fulfill customer demands. The Service Operations Coordinator will engage with customers, sales teams, and management while adhering to all operational and order management protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle incoming service inquiries and schedule technicians for preventive maintenance and repairs, optimizing operational efficiency.
  • Guide and mentor service technicians, assisting with technical issue resolution as needed.
  • Ensure prompt and accurate invoicing processes.
  • Oversee service inventory and rental fleets, including repair status and location tracking.
  • Promote adherence to environmental, health, and safety standards within the Customer Center, contributing to the auditing process.
  • Foster customer loyalty by managing interactions effectively and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Generate and follow up on service quotes and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Order and receive parts for service jobs, monitor shipping and receiving activities, and manage service request data entry. Submit warranty claims and ensure compliance with SARBOX regulations.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to teamwork and customer dedication by maintaining flexibility to work overtime and weekends as required.

Travel & Work Arrangements:
This position is based onsite in Norcross, GA.

Basic Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent with 2-5 years of relevant experience is required; a degree is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with handheld devices (e.g., smartphones, tablets).
  • Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems is advantageous.
  • This role is physically demanding, requiring regular use of hands, walking, stooping, and kneeling, with the ability to lift and move up to 10 lbs regularly and occasionally up to 50+ lbs.

Key Competencies:

  • Exceptional organizational, communication (both verbal and written), and follow-up skills, with the ability to manage a high volume of priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, capable of following established processes while knowing when to escalate issues for further review.
  • Outstanding customer service abilities, including effective phone etiquette.
